Liquidation Sale

Due to a new law passed - many small "homemade" product sellers geared to the under 12 crowd are dumping their stock or selling at bottom rung prices.

This one is for stories on CD - mostly history type. My girls have really enjoyed their samples and free chapters - they are very well done! They give a free download every week. It will be a HUGE loss - but they can still sell via the computer - the files for you to download.

What they cannot do is sell them premade on a CD, which is a pretty good chunk of their income.

There is a huge group trying to get the law clarified and amended to exclude very small homemade items - mostly sold from stay at home mom's. Thursday they released a statement that it would not include second hand items ... although a second hand dealer is still responsible for checking the list of known "failed" products and making sure that they do not sell them.


It will be interesting to see how this plays out - because if the law stands, it will be a huge blow to the economy, especially for one income families or Home business families. Even Kendra will not be able to fully develope her Giraffe Crafts business - how silly is that? The yarn does not have to be tested beforehand - but she would have to pay to have the hats and scarves she makes for the kids and dolls tested before she can sell them... that would cost more than she sells them for since each product she makes is entirely unique!


So if there are any children in your life - and you can afford to take advantage of this sale - I can say that I would recommend them. They are aimed at Christian Homeschoolers - in the old "Radio Show" type format. Most are history and moral stories.
