When we first got to the home hosting the party - it was on the warm side. Well before dark they took the kids on a hay ride.
One of the college boys promised to help watch Joel, so I let him go.
Kendra was there too.
And Vannan claimed that she was so "packed in" that there was no way that the cold could get to her!
Is this the same child that wears a coat and long johns on summer mornings?
Go figure.
Much later - after dark - they went again. This time bundled to the hilt because it was getting very cold with the sun down.
