He gets kisses for time left o^er.

and plays with the toys.

LaRue helps Decorate

Look what I ha^e Mommy!

Follow Me!

(Someday, I will get some more glue and tile and fix that ugly floor ...
but first I ha^e to replace a good sized chunk just inside the door
where it gets wet when it rains.)

Are you still following me?

And this is where she wanted it put.

Playing with My Tub Toys

Any time the bathroom door is left open,
LaRue makes a bee line for the tub.

First, she turns on the cold water.

Then she wants to play with the musical
tub toys.

I think Aunt Michelle got Joel the Xylophone last Christmas,
and this Christmas, Aunt Heather bought LaRue the flutes.

You can fill them with water of different heights and blow to make a tune.

She's been caught!

Don't worry,
99% of the time,
the door is closed.

And lately she's begun closing it herself,
or coming and getting somebody to close the door.

If it's not done "right"
she has caniptions.

More of ^annan's Room

That one is my fa^orite.

Which one do you like LaRue?

She still has a lot left to hang up!

^annan Decorates Her Room

We picked up glittery snowflakes and mini ornaments at
Target after the first of the year.

The first time we picked up just a few at 75% off,
and the following week we returned to find
e^erything at 90% off.

It makes her smile.
So it was worth the $5 she put into it.

She has more to put up on the library side.

And she let LaRue help her
decide where to put each piece.

They talked about colors and shapes.

It was so cute to watch.

Legos

When Kendra was young,
she was gi^en lego's on se^eral occasions,
and had quite a collection of them.

She "ga^e" them to Joel for Christmas.

Kendra is on the other side of the table,
super^ising the play.

LaRue would not be left out!

Fun Times

LaRue playing her piano.

LaRue sweeping.
The silly broom sings.
She dances.

Building with legos.

A favorite dress from Vannan.
There is a matching one that Mom bought Kendra,
but I haven't found it yet.

I've always loved the cowgirl
on her pony.

Christmas Cousins

Yeah, More Christmas

We found this toaster oven on sale
during Christmas.

We had been planning to buy a printer,
as mine is not wanting to feed paper
AND the ink is EXPENSIVE.

But you can see that we are using it a lot.
Come summer,
we will be able to carry it outside
and cook meat or cassaroles
without heating the house.

Awesome!

As soon as MP3 showed up,
LaRue snatched him up and ran off.

Joel was amused,
as he had the MP3 player.

Since Kendra helped wrap over half
of the stuff,
as did Vannan,

she kept stopping
posing as you see above and saying

I am thinking that this is a ..... _____________

It was hilarious.

Then Joel had to have his picture taken
with our new dust pan.

Karen got it for me,
as she didn't like to watch
LaRue carrying the other one around
with the broken handle.

Can you see that expression on his face?
