Hiding in our shelf of puzzles was one of Vannan's old 3 layer Bob the Builder Puzzle. It is rapidly becoming one of Joel's favorites.
Each layer has 16 pieces of the house. The first layer is the frame, the second is a partially completed home. The 3rd is the house all finished.
He insists that Vannan separate out the 3 puzzles and will go from pile to pile.
He does not like large floor puzzles. Because there is no spot on the floor large enough that is flat and not a major walk thru zone for him to put them together.
Where he is laying is part of the spot where we took out the pantry and fireplace last year and all of the floor fell out and we had to put the plywood down. It's not pretty - but we don't fall through the floor and many of the airleaks are gone.
