Revisiting the ornament beads at home...
I was only working with 3 this time. We put the beads in sets of 16 with a pretty little miniture ornament in each set. These I had left over from several years ago when I was using them for wrapping packages and decorating wreaths.
We gave each one pipe cleaners in their favorite color so we could easily tell who had made each one later.
Joel did this one. It was a silver St. Nick ornament.
Joel also enjoyed playing wit the little people ornaments. Here he has one taking a walk and is singing "Jingle Bells" if I remember right.
Bethie and Katie put her (Bethie's) ornaments to dangle below instead of inside.
I would advise getting better quality pipecleaners for this project. We have super cheap ones from the dollar store - and they are loosing their shape with the weight. Still pretty - but would not hold up to a shaped tree or star at all.
