Tim is OUT of the hospital

People from around the world are still praying ...  http://m.maploco.com/details/f501rkd9  .... and we can certainly feel those prayers and see God's hand at work through these past few days.

Tim plans to give his full story tomorrow or when he gets here - we decided an extra day at his parents house to re-coup would be a good thing.  Long time Friends (and his parent's neighbors for over 30 years) will drive him up tomorrow and look at our hot water heater to see if he can fix it or do we have to replace it.  What a blessing since my Dad has not had time to get to it, and will not until this week-end.

We cannot believe the amount of groceries that has arrived at our house in the last 24 hours - and one cooked meal.  What a blessing.  The kids have been so excited to see all the fruits and veggies - and meats.  You should have heard Joel looking for pears.  But he was so excited about oranges and apples and banana's and a big pineapple.   We felt so much love.

The short story ... Tim went home today - to his parents house - not here, and will come home to here tomorrow.  His heart is not a good candidate for further surgery/ intervention.  The doctor said, "The benefit gained is not worth the risk and cost of further surgery."

We will do a bit more cleaning - and getting ready for Tim.  Tomorrow he will  get her, get up our steps, and we'll be better rested and ready for him - I hope.  I suspect he will quickly retreat to his office and be back at the computer.  Hopefully, we can get a family time to walk - but if not, maybe he can find parks to walk while doing his job.  I have no idea what his plans are for exercise.

We will be changing the family diet - especially since it appears Tim's heart problems may be more genetic than other factors - so the kids start off with healthier hearts as well.   We won't be making massive changes, as much of our diet has been made healthier over the years anyway, but now we move up to the "next level" and start watching labels for the whole family, and not just Mom and Kendra.  Groceries will cost more - but hopefully the trade off will be better health.

Some people have asked about sending a little to help out with our medical bills - so we are looking into putting a Pay Pal button onto our blog for a few weeks at least.

It looks like Tim will be able to return to his job in a week or 2 - depending on how he feels and how fast he gets his stamina back up.  His recovery has been remarkable so far.  The power of prayers is amazing.   Tim is looking forward to doing his next radio show on Sunday night - you can find a link to his show - After glow on Rapture Ready Radio on our sidebar.

Considering the prognosis that was given to us on Friday - Tim is doing so awesome.  But I wonder if they were exaggerating a bit, giving a "middle case"  and not "best case".  Because Tim is progressing so much faster then they gave us any hope.  I think partly because Tim is healthier than they thought he was after seeing his heart, and the power of prayer.   He should be able to resume reffing come fall.  Of course, a lot depends on his check up in 2 weeks.  But the doctor today was very optimistic.
