There use to be an oak tree there ...
that green is mostly a parasitic vine.
Branches fell all over around the Master bath end of the trailer.
This area looked very battered - it's usually not
so bleak looking.
But then without watering, this year is BROWN.
That tree on the left was beating the front of Dad's house there.
We were afraid that it would come right into the house.
Then the electricity went out.
Our poor garden got a good beating too
not use to rain, or the drain off from the house roof line.
And we had a hard downpour for most of an hour.
Grasshoppers got this one earlier.
We've also wondered about a hornworm.
Some of our herbs.
Behind Dad's house.
The one of the roof fell some time ago.
But you can see that the rest of the tree is now down above it.
Can you see the top where it broke off?
Down at the barn,
we were surprised at how little damage there was
considering how bad many of the trees looked.
And the leaf coverage looks like October or November.
August is usually still a lot greener.
Can you see the down branch up there?
This is one in our play yard.
Only pines and cedars still are green.
Not much else.
And some of those are brown as well.
