I was reminded last week of a nifty craft for little kids and SO easy.

So I decided to do it for our Preschool Cubbie class.
Matthew was oh so careful with his "John Deere Tractor" colors. He liked it so much that he wants to come to my house and make some more!
Joel just put the colors in any order and had a LOT of fun doing it. Because he's mine - he'll be doing more for the relatives.
Shianne did 3 in different sizes and told me that one was Daddy, one was Mommy, and one was the baby. Our first ones were about 20 beads to a pipe cleaner - they were a bit small. But 35 beads were almost too many to still make a nice hook.
I love this craft for preschoolers! We used pony beads - but any kind with a good hole will work. The wire makes it so easy for little ones to work with and get the beads onto the pipe cleaner. And the fuzziness keeps the beads in place so no dropping them off the other end.
I think it could easily be adapted to teach colors and numbers and sorting and patterns for the younger children.
Looks like they had a great time. It's a perfect craft for little fingers. Thanks for the link.
