It was November,
and FINALLY
my garden was deciding to flourish.
Lea^es and peppers and e^en tomatoes were everywhere.
BUT
Thanksgiving day we were expecting a major cold front.
Can you see the little peppers?
Grub 1 shows us some nice sized tomatoes.
Grub 3 shows my prized jalapeno mistake bush.
I almost got enough peppers from it
to pay for the rest of the garden.
If only we ate them!
And a little pepper plant to the left, and another 2 tomato bushes behind him.
We covered the garden with
black trash bags
or large queen sized sheets.
The goats later munched on some of the peppers.
One night, we forgot to co^er the jalapeno.
And slowly the tomatoes died too.
But we got quite a lot more out of them
before we lost the rest.
We stopped covering them around Christmas.
