I've had a few people ask about the car ....
It's still not working - but the story goes like this ... Every Tuesday for the last month or so, Tim has been meeting with a group of other men and women in the same state he's in - unemployed and looking - and they help each other iron out problems with resumes and find new leads. But last Tuesday, he had trouble with the car while coming home - and Wednesday couldn't get it to turn over at all.
So my dad looked at it when he got home - and the fuel pump is totally dead. He let Tim borrow his car to go to the lake with the kids for the Wednesday night stuff our church does and again on Sunday for church. Friday night, Dad had the needed part in hand and they had the car up and ready to work on .... except the car needs to go much higher off the ground to get the entire muffler/exhaust system removed as well as the fuel tank! Dad says we can't fix it here - so now we are waiting to get it loaded onto a trailer and haul it to a little shop down the road from where Dad works.
Vannan had her Royal Princess Tea Party on Saturday. We had a nice turn out and it was a lot of fun. I'll be posting a series of posts from her party and pictures on Picasa.
Thursday, Joel, Marriana, and I went with Rhoda and her kids to the library to watch a balloon guy - sort of a clown magician type. It was fun. Afterwards, Tim met us and we went to our local telephone company and Tim signed us up for a faster internet service - and so we are on a waiting list to get on the waiting list to get the phone line hooked up for that. Sigh - and they were there Thursday morning to hook Daddy up.
Not sure if anything else is going on - trying to get school squared away to start in a few weeks - the girls are working on their reports that must be mailed Wednesday. And I'm now 29 weeks along. LaRue is very active and enjoys the sound of her siblings talking to her.
