March 8 - Ruezy and Candy

Ruezy with her favorite (or one of) dollies - one of her much loved Christmas gifts this year.

Candy is special ... her tummy stuffing can be removed and either heated or frozen .... which makes her a wonderful companion in an ice cold bed or car seat on a cold day or night  ....   or once frozen, on a hot day or night in the summer.

She also has with her, her Christmas water bottle.  She decorated it herself.   She's brilliant like that.  Everything MUST be decorated.

In fact, if it's not glittery, sparkly, pink or purple, or twirly ... it's just not pretty enough.

Life is never dull with this child!

March 8 - Dresses for Africa

This is either the 4th or 5th year that our chuch has made dresses to send to an orphanage in CAR, Africa.

Vannan was the only one who went this year.

The little kids made matching bracelets.

Many Faces of Paul

This is my Best Friend's youngest ...  she was pregnant with him when we had our car wreck 5 years ago.   These pictures were taken just before his 4th birthday.

Paul is a HAM.

Paul has Downs Syndrome - He's healthy and quite the problem solver.  And he LOVES to make others laugh.   

These pics were taken one evening while he was brushing his teeth and practicing making faces in the bathroom mirror.

Feb 27 - Goofing Off With Sibs

I wish you could see his face, he was laughing so hard.

He laughed so much that he can barely move and Vannan (or Kendra) just roll him around.

They walk off and he runs after them begging, "Do it again!!!"

Boys are strange.

On the other hand, the baby sister want to do Princess Poses.

Haven't a clue what's up with the bottle.  She was filling it up with sand!

Feb 25 - Rue's Princess Dreams

Ruezy begged for a crown.   I found a premade one from a birthday party a couple of years ago, and we finished it off for her.

Then I caught her sleeping with her crown on her head .... like so.

OK ... guess it's more comfortable to be a princess like that!

Feb 19, 2014 -- Rue's New Dolly

Grandpa frequently bring the kids gifts and toys  when he sees them at church.

One night I dressed up Rue for church like so ....

and when she arrived, Grandpa had a surprise dolly - with a ceramic feet and head.

And to everyone's amusement ... it was also dressed a LOT like Rue!

The results of which was an impromptu photo session.

Still Here ... Are You Still There?

I know it has been a REALLY LONG TIME since I last posted anything.

I got this new computer ... everything had to be figured out all over again ... settings and programs were lost and had to be refixed and replaced.


Then we re-arranged the school room ... again.


Ruth and Rhoda and I started working every Monday to get stuff around here sorted, and labeled for a garage sale.    Then we had a HUGE boulder of a problem land in Ruth's lap ... which splashed into/onto all of our lives.

Somewhere along the line, I started saying, "I'll update tomorrow."   No-one seemed to miss the updates or the pictures.


So .... encourage me to "get back to it" and I'll be more likely to get some stuff up ... otherwise, I'll believe all of my readers are gone ... and maybe not post anymore at all.   It's a lot more fun to just read a book.


Anyone still out there?   Anyone miss us?
