Redo: Joel's Eggs

I saw something like this on one of the Montessori blogs.

Except Joel has 48 eggs.

I numbered each of the "pockets" for his eggs and numbered each egg.
Plus I picked 2 colors for each one of the cartons.
There were only 6 colors, so the last egg carton has mixed up colored eggs.

Then we "hide" some eggs and he puts them in the correct spots.

He thinks it's fun.
