We never got to go shopping ... but didn't have money to shop with either.

Kendra bought this for us to share.

Vannan bought Mom purple gel pens. Kendra and Joel bought me tiny boxes of truffles.
LaRue got Daddy a little flash light.

But we made a fun day of it anyway. Pancakes for breakfast!


LaRue informed us a few minutes ago ... that she needs to write Santa and let him know that he forgot a few things.
I asked her what did Santa forget?
She told me that he forgot to get her ice skates and her magic ear muffs.
(Um .... right.   The closest place to skate is over an hour away!  and we never go there!)
I think she's been watching too much Winnie the Pooh. The one where piglet can't skate.
Then she finally remembered that she wanted a really big soft pink blanket. I'm pretty sure it will show up at one of the relatives Christmas parties.

Joel, on the other hand, remembers what he asked for ... and he's pretty sure that Santa forgot to bring him  an Android Tablet, an umbrella, or the legos that he asked for.

Yeah, they know that there is no Santa... I think they've been watching too many Santa movies.
You should hear LaRue singing the Heat Miser and Snow Miser songs. Especially watch her face. It's a hoot.
