Oct. 2 - Oct. 9

Oct. 2

Rue loves Joel's puzzle blocks

Reading 3-D books

With only 4 weeks until Aunt V arrived ...
Joel was STILL waiting on his bedroom.
The telephone company had slowed us down,
by not hooking up our internet next door until we got a separate address.

So ...

If you have our address,
change the 547 ...
to 575.

Tim still had boxes of stuff to move out.
Vannan stacked it all nicely,
and ended up with a mild asthma attack for her efforts.

Oct. 3.

We found Joel's little headphones -
and Rue has been happily using them
when she plays on the computer.
Less random noise in the house.

Playing with blocks.

WINK

Oct. 4

Joel built her a train set ...
and she played with the most of the afternoon.

Painting.

Playing Peek A Boo
over her kitchen
with Mom.

That is part of Vannan's
Winnie the Pooh costume/PJ's
when V was a tiny girl.

Oct. 5

Finally caught V on her computer.

Oct. 6

Scrubbing the floor in Joel's new room.
After 6  years of not being properly cleaned,
due to the layers of papers on the floor,
This was a long,
but fun task.
They sang and giggled the whole time.
Good thing it is a tiny room though.
At best, this room is 8' x 10'
and that includes the closet area.

The floor where the chair has rolled for the past 6 years
was heavily damaged.
But a new layer of Polyurethane
shined it right back up.
We hope to put down a second and third coat come spring or summer.

We also spent time clearing out around the trailers -
though we still have a LONG way to go.

"Recording" her own songs.

Of course,
it would help if she plugged in the "microphone".

Joel recording his own radio show.

Oct. 7

After the girls (Kendra, Vannan, Brooke) and
even Joel and LaRue helped out some.
Joel had to pick a paint color with "Sun" in the name.

Since I have already posted his completed room,
I'll skip it here.

Oct. 9

Helping little sister play a new computer game.
New to them.
He is so very protective of his baby sister.
She was standing on a wobbly chair,
and he didn't want her to fall.
