Dec 11 - Grandma's House and Church

Since Christmas 2001,
Kendra has helped Grandma
"decorate"
for Christmas.

Eventually, Vannan started helping,
Kendra took over the tree,
and Joel has joined them as well.

LaRue just ran around looking cute that day.

Love those boots!

Those were bought for Vannan and have been through at least 4 other feet.

Vannan is hoping somebody will take her shopping
for another pair.
Her current size.

Yep - that's a hint.

She says she needs good sturdy, waterproof boots
for working out at the Horse Therapy place.

Ok - end of hint.

Yearly, at our church,
we have a Christmas dinner.

At the end, every single child
is given a present.
Which I think is pretty amazing.

(My wish is to someday be able to
give Christmas to others the way people
are giving to us ... )

This is what LaRue got this year.

She LOVES farm animals.
So these were quite a huge hit.

I don't know

but I LOVE it!

He was helping by holding the clips and rubber bands.

Putting together the nativity
scene is now his job.

Once, it was his Daddy's job.
So this is very BIG for him.

He was so pleased to be helping.

The boys LOVE Grandpa's huge
collection of walking sticks.

He told Grandpa he wanted one for Christmas.

And he got one!

Here is Joel getting his gift at church.

It was a "car that changes into a robot".
He hasn't a clue that it is a transformer,
but he's enjoying the building aspect of it a lot,
as it has lots of little pieces.

He almost ALWAYS has it in hand.

and THOSE use to belong to Kendra!

and they have been through even more kids than Vannan's boots.
