When I was a very little girl, maybe 5 or 6 or 7?
One year for Christmas my family received a package from "up North".
That is where my Dad was from - and the package was from his sister.
Inside were the coolest and most awesome hats I had ever seen.
There were 3 in the package.
A yellow one for me.
I think the other 2 were blue and green.
One for Ruth and one for Rebekah.
As you can see, I still have it.
And for all the abuse it took that day, it still looks almost as good as the day my mom handed it to me.
