We made this craft in Jr. church - while telling the story about Noah's Ark.
The first week, we colored the paper plate and put a cardboard "house" part on the boat. We did talk about and draw a more boxy ark on the black board and talked about how big it was.
The second week, we put in the animals. Joel put his on the inside. I just gave them a bunch and let them put them whereever they wanted to.
Our 3rd week, we talked about the flood and the raven and dove - and cut open the door. I think. For some reason Kendra and I cannot really remember this part.
Our 4th week, we made a rainbow and glued it to the top of the ark.
Joel is the only one who got a window. Kendra cut his "door" first and Joel was quite upset that she had cut a window instead.
