Our LaRue has Done turned TWO ... E I E I O! Oct. 29

Piggy Balloons.

LaRue loved the Siamese twins.

Jenny gave LaRue a pizza all her own for lunch.

THANK YOU!!!

Grub 2 cleaned the yard and lined up all the seats in the shade.

THANK YOU!!!

The piggies escaped into the yard and hid.

But not before I was able to "brand" each one with a
party kids' name.

LaRue and Papa.

Aunt Cindy made the outfit.

This little piggy cried "BOO"

Aunt Cindy brought Oreo Turkeys.

Note to selves ... don't assemble oreo turkeys in full sun,
even if it is only 70 outside.

We did finally move to the shade
and that helped a LOT.

The adults found seats and began to chat
and enjoy the show.

Notice the shade is gone.

What a great science lesson!

The kids raced around the yard hunting piggies
and specifically, the ones with their names on their

Ham hocks.?

Next we had to find all the chicken eggs.

Each party goer was given an egg carton.

And off they ran to fill them up.

What I really liked about this game...

the big one filled up their egg cartons pretty quickly
and set them on the table
(names were already on their cartons)

and then they came back and joyfully and
enthusiastically helped the younger ones fill up their cartons.

Not one fight, and nobody cried.

We even knew we had to find 3 more eggs at the end.

LaRue LOVES her counting animals.

It took a lot of coaxing to get her to open anything else.

And a cell phone.

More coaxing.

She got quite a few new outfits too.

And lots of cards to read.

And books to read.

Ahem...

more coaxing.

And an awesome dolly!

and new socks.

Crayons.

and a lot more ...

BUT

she started to say cute things ...
so the camera was put on movie (I didn't have the camera).

So I have no record of the rest of her
gifts or who gave her what.

Before I found out this had happened...
The girls efficiently put away every single gift.

I know she got a pop out pillow.

A push stroller for her dollies.

Lots of snacks.

a big lunch box full of tiny dollies and dishes and home made jewelry.  (from us).

but I know I'm missing a lot.

Kendra made the cake.

And she was scared to death of the fire
on the candles.

Paul is starting to walk.

My camera followed Paul around quite a bit as well.

And that was LaRue's Second Birthday Party.
