Meeting LaRue After Birth

Tim says we're going to keep her.
(He's joking of course - we never questioned that.)

She always seems to have her hands up around her face and head.
I kind of miss the tickles on my hip bone.

Kendra was a big help during delivery - but forgot to run the camera so we missed the first pictures.
She was 15 - 30 minutes old by the time anyone thought to take some.

And I was a little preocupied.
Oh Well.
I don't have any first few minutes with the others either really.

Vannan found labor more than she could handle and watching the birth amazing and a bit scary.
But she has been totally mesmerized with her new sister.

Joel didn't have a sticker, and they cut the cord before he got there, but he DID sing Happy Birthday to her.
And then he sang "Wilber Wiggle".

She was crying a LOT until he started singing, but she quieted right down while he sang to her.

It was love at first sight for all of us - even if she was wrinkled and kinda reddish purple.
We thought she was perfect and beautiful.
