For Christmas last year, one of the girls Aunt n Uncles got them each their own MP3 players. Simple things and turned out to be battery eaters and great assets to our school program. The girls almost always have theirs with them.
So what do we put on them?
One place that the girls have greatly enjoyed getting stories from is Storynory.
She has a delightful accent and tells the stories so well. She has a great variety of stories too - some seem to be a theme that I'm guessing she wrote or at least come from a more modern book, especially stories about Bertie the frog. He use to be a prince!
She also has old legends and fairy tales. Things like Greek classics and Robin Hood. She also has an educational tab.
Some of the stories are scary - and some just sweet. So far we haven't come across any we didn't like, but I haven't listened to every single one of them yet.
