2012-06-06\IMG_7837.JPG Joel took advantage of the missing frig to create an office for himself. At this time, we were still doing school every day. By the end of the month, it had gotten hectic enough that we fizzled out for when things settled down some. We are still waiting. |

2012-06-06\IMG_7842.JPG Hours were spent with clay. I like clay a LOT more than play dough. And we play with it until they forget the rules, and I find even a single piece outside of the "play zone". This usually takes 10 - 14 days. |

2012-06-07\IMG_7852.JPG In all the cleaning, we've unearthed dozens of tiny dolls. Rue has loved playing with such a huge variety. I've got to go through her stash and drop the number of dolls back to a reasonable number. I do wish I could afford to mail them all (and other toys and blankets) to a missionary collecting items for Christmas boxes for kids. I've got addresses for 2 places - or find a local place collecting in really good condition - but not new items. |

2012-06-08\IMG_7857.JPG They were invited to join some kids at a water park, so Tim took them. This was the first of maybe 7 times that they have been in water this summer. We did water in the yard a couple of times, but had to stop as the water bills started going up. |

2012-06-08\IMG_7858.JPG Rue sat on Tim's lap the whole time, so he hasn't taken them back. I think it was all the new people though, not the water. She doesn't do people well. |

2012-06-09\IMG_7864.JPG I think this was the day Vannan wrestled with the huge vine ... she won the battle. But pulled a muscle, and the recovery has been long and hard. |

2012-06-09 Family Reunion My Mom's side of the family. |
|

|
|
|
This is my immediate family. My mom's parent's, two of her brothers, a cousin, and a SO. (significant other). An aunt was there as well - but behind my uncle - so you don't see her. |

This was the smallest group to show that I can every remember. As a small child, I remember filling entire parks - seemed like hundreds. I remember one park we played frisbee, wandered from picnic table to picnic table filling our plates. My folks packed the army locker (we still have it) full of food. Way off on the side was a small museum. I remember pushing buttons to hear a voice tell about the exhibits. A sea of similar faces ... so easy to loose track of names. |

2012-06-12\IMG_7891.JPG On our way home from family reunion, we picked up a flat of these squash. Because they were starting to go bad, we got them for $3. What a blessing! We cut off the bad spots and made this tasty dish several times. In the end, we did loose a few though. |

2012-06-12\IMG_7903.JPG Aunt Rhoda made Kendra 3 cute pair of jammies when she was 2. This is one of them. I think they have been through 5 or 6 kids now, (except Joel) and still mostly look in great condition. I love home made clothes! |
