April 21 - we discovered that wet chalk is amazing
on our rubber mat.
At first you cannot see it,
then is suddenly appears like magic. |
This is how we get wet chalk.
The chalk board is in the hallway,
where we sort the laundry.
The washing machine is at my right elbow. |
Rue loves hiding under things,
and this marked the beginning of her "tent" phase. |
This is the video nook.
I had to sort and purge over 20 boxes (see the bottom of the picture - cardboard box) of videos to fit into this space. |
Here were 8 boxes that still hadn't been opened. |
That's a LOT of videos that came from my folks house. |
Rue and her favorite buggy. |
Doll clothes drawer.
Someday - I've got to go through these and make sure
we have dolls that fit the clothes. |
Our lettuce.
The grasshoppers wiped it out one afternoon in June. |
Toffee is now nearly 9 years old. |
The view from our school room. |
April 23 - Rue fell asleep telling her baby a bed time story. |
April 24 - more cutting.
Obviously - it was still on the cool side. |
Joel being goofy.
He looks a lot like one of his cousins when he makes this face. |
Having the computer in the school room wasn't working,
so we returned it to it's former location,
just outside of Tim's office.
This one is only for kids games,
and we are grateful for an older machine that will still
run the dozens and dozens of kids educational games
that we've accumulated over the years.
I did finally let the baby and toddler games go.
Kinda sad about that. |
Have I mentioned this kid LOVES cutting? |
April 25 - the 4 boys made an elaborate city for their cars. |
Watching a movie in the school room. |
An idea: Kendra eats a LOT of tic tacs.
So we've begun recycling them into snacks
and sunflower shakers for sandwiches. |
Tim is nearly half of a century old.
Or he celebrated 29 for the 20th time. |
Guess I get to give him a big party next year?
